When the motor axis spins, the cam bearing rolls the disc within the cycloid box, where 1 spin by the cam bearing spins the disc by 1 mountain. (Refer to flash) Now, the rolling movement of the disc spins the output axis roller(+pin) simultaneously so that the output axis gives out the same decreased spins as the numbers of the disc.

The outer body is mainly cast of GC200 and GCD450, and has gone through annealing to remove stress during casting and processed to sustain its precision. It has been designed and built to be strong and withstand against shocks, and has been perfected in the normal flow of lubricants and prevention of oil leakage.
The interior is designed by cycloid, and helical or spur gear to produce a high quality product in terms of noise and durability.
The lubrication method is the oil-bath, and air drains (oil filler, air vent, air breather) quickly removes gas and internal pressure within the reducer, and uses a special form to prevent influx of exterior moisture and dust.


  1. High reduction ratio.
    The involute type reducer is normally under 1/6 at 1 gear, but a cycloid reducer can handle up to 1/19~1/89 at gear 1. Also, when connecting in many stages, a great reduction ratio is possible up to 1 on millions.

  2. Strong against shocks and high durability.
    It is designed to be a sturdy structure. The disc teeth is made of trochoid curve gear, and more than half of the teeth are always in contact with the pin (roller), making it impervious to shocks and overload to out-deliver power compared to its capacity. The disc teeth is a smooth continuing curve, and the contact point of the disc is made of pin(roller), making for all rolling contact, so that the teeth won't break or wear.

  3. Efficient and economic.
    The motor axis and output axis are arranged in the same line, and through all rolling contact, it shows an average of 90% of high efficiency in 1st gear reduction (1/19~1/89). Especially, the many staged type (over 1/361) has the best efficiency of all reducers, has low power consumption rate, and has reduced repair time to decrease its management fees and is thus very economic.

  4. Operation smooth and quiet.
    The ruler has a high engagement ratio, and contacts consecutively for a smooth operation. The motor transmitting part has been built through precise manufacturing and processing, resulting in little vibration or noise.

  5. Easy to handle.
    The structure is simple, making deconstruction and construction easy. The input and output is in the same line, making it easy to handle.
